Description
A bronze sculpture created to be held.
Small yet heavy in the hand, its weight evokes shifting sensations — tenderness, coldness, reverence, or burden.
The creative process is an integral part of the work’s expression. Bronze is one of the oldest alloys produced by humankind. In the casting process, heat and fire set the metal in motion before it solidifies into permanence. Over time, it is affected only on the surface, through wear and patina.
The work becomes a metaphor for responsibility — how it is felt, carried and exercised; how actions can shape and harden a person. Or, simply, might function as a gentle paperweight.
